Well, that is what seems to be the popular theme this holiday season. No Frosty and Ruddolph, how about a good old fashioned murder mystery. Tis the season!
This year my company holiday party featured a Mafioso Murder Mystery story. Everyone at the party were given lines and funky props and a little piece of the mystery puzzle. As we sat down at dinner at The Godfathers 85th birthday party everyone warmed up as the 3 professional actors led our company cast through the story. It turned out to be a pretty fun night as we played through the story as we had dinner and dessert. And guess what? It was I, Abbey Cuss, who killed the Godfather....muaaaahahaha! Yup, I got to play the merry murderer. And (embarrassingly enough) was awarded the "Best Actress" award. Oh my...it was some pretty lame acting. Heehee.
The next night I became Tia Maria Sangria, the thrice widowed town priest (and undertaker) at Sami's, who played Indian Chief Dark Cloud, holiday party. (I got to be her date! Weeee!) We ate dinner and chatted with her coworkers while we tried to figure out who shot the Sheriff in the Western Themed dinner party. Another merry murder mystery hit!
So...who knew murder for the holidays were so popular!
